Buying a domain name enables you to get your own personalised address on the World Wide Web and finding an easy-to-remember name can make your website easier to find, and hence can help increase your traffic.
A domain name on its own though does nothing; to make any use of your domain name you will have to get it hosted or forwarded. See our 'Web Hosting' pages for more information about our hosting.
If you don't want fully fledged hosting you may be interested in our forwarding service if you currently have free webspace with your current dialup ISP. For £10 per year we can forward web requests for your domain name to your free webspace and email at your domain to your current email address.
The first stage is to check whether your required domain name is available. See bottom of page for domain searches, then, if your name is available, click to go to the registration order section. If you also require forwarding then click on the 'Ordering' section of the site (in the left hand menu).
Prices are just £20 for domain names ending in .uk for 2 years, and just £29.95 for .com .org and .net domain names for 2 years. The new exensions, .info and .biz domains, are £39 for 2 years. All registry fees are included and there is nothing else to pay, no hidden extras. Forwarding for web and email is just £10 per year.
