How Do I View My Site Statistics And Logfiles?
To view your statistics online you need to goto www.yourdomain.co.uk/stats
For more advanced users, the raw server logfiles for your site are in a folder called 'stats' in your webdirectory on the server. These are called transfer_log and error_log.

Do You Support Perl CGI Scripts?
Yes we do. We do not provide any scripts for your use but you can use your own.
A good source of free Perl CGI Scripts is
www.cgi-resources.com
Please see the support section on Perl / CGI in the menu on the left for more detailed help with installing scripts.

Do You Support MySQL Databases?
Yes we do. To setup a database you will have to email us with the name of the database and your choice of username and password for it. We will then set up your database (normally same day). As standard we install a web-based control panel for you to manage your database more easily.
Please note there are extra charges for this, please see the 'hosting' page for pricing.

Do You Support PHP Scripts
Yes we do. We currently support PHP3 and PHP4.
You should make your scripts end with the extension .php or .php3

Do You Support Frontpage Extensions?
Yes, we have support for Frontpage2000 Extensions available as an optional extra.
Please note there are extra charges for this, please see the 'hosting extras' page in the ordering section for pricing.

How Many Email Addresses Do You Provide?
By default your account is setup so that mail sent to anything@yourdomain.co.uk goes into one mailbox.
If you require more mailboxes we can setup extra mailboxes for you, see the 'hosting' page for more details on pricing.

Do You Allow Telnet Access?
Yes we do. However for security reasons you may only use telnet on our server while connected via our Free DialUp service.
See our 'dial-up' page for more details.

Do You Provide Dial-Up Access To The Internet?
Yes we do, to get your free account see our online ordering section.

Do I Have To Use Your Dial-Up Service?
No you don't. You can access your webspace, ftp and mail using any dial-up account.
However you do have to use our dial-up for telnet access to the server due to security reasons.

How Can I Pay For Your Services?
You can pay by cheque, postal order or credit card. We will generally setup your account the same day that we receive payment. So if you pay by credit card when you order (before 4pm) then your account would normally be setup same day. If you choose to pay by cheque or postal order we will setup your account on the same day as we receive your cheque.

What is Bandwidth?
Bandwidth is the amount of files and data that you can transfer per month. The standard allowance you get is 1 gigabyte of bandwidth per month. Everytime a visitor views your site they are downloading files from your site, this uses your bandwidth. If you have a page that is 30kb in size including images and 10 people view that page you would have used 300kilobytes of bandwidth.(1 gigabyte = approximately 1,000,000 kilobytes)

Do I Have To Have A Domain Name To Use Your Hosting Services?
No, if you do not have a domain name and do not wish to purchase one we can setup a hosting account for you with an address of www.yourname.thehostforyou.com
To order this type of hosting just put a request in the 'Extra Details' box on the order form.

How Long Will It Take To Setup An Account With You?
Generally we will setup your account on the same day that we receive payment.
If you are hosting a domain name with us then it may take a few days for the domain name to be setup. However you can still upload your site in the mean time.
